Dr. Melissa Yeung offers comprehensive eye care to both children and adults with a focus in vision therapy, neurorehabilitation and pediatrics.
Dr. Melissa Yeung received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. She completed externships in New Jersey, California and Miami where she gained extensive experience and knowledge in ocular disease.
After graduation, Melissa moved to New York City where she pursued the Residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation program at SUNY College of Optometry and was the recipient of the Dr. Martin Birnbaum Memorial Award for Outstanding Knowledge and Skills in Behavioural Optometry.
Melissa is passionate about raising awareness to the community regarding the importance of early eye examinations and the benefits of vision rehabilitation. She has participated in several school screenings, is fluent in both English and Cantonese and enjoys travelling, yoga, hiking and baking on her free time.
